Printing Labels
Choose Order->Update/Delete/Print F5.The order header window will appear.
Type 1 in the Order Code field.
Press the Load Order button with the mouse. The order
1 header data will appear on the window.
Press the OK button. The order detail window will
appear.
Choose the option Reports->Print Labels->Setting 1.

The print label window is very much the same as the print bar
list window. To get an explanation of the meaning of the parameters go to
previous chapter. There are some parameters which only appear in the print label
window:
- Label by
. It indicates which rows can be included in the same label
and which must be in different labels. This field has no sense if the Sort
by field is set to Do not sort. First of all it is important to
note that all rows which print the drawing on the label will be in a different
label each. Only in the case of those which print the mask instead of the
drawing is it possible to print several rows in the same label, because less
space is needed. To know more about this topic read the chapter "Using
the mask to enter data and print" in the help03 file. If we choose Machine
in this field, rows with different machines can't be in the same label. If we
have chosen sort sequence number 3 in the Sort by field, then the
sorting sequence is Location, Machine, Model code, Sort Value, Diameter,
Length. So if the rows have different Locations, they will also be in
different labels because Location has priority in the sorting sequence over
Machine. Similarly if we choose Diameter in this field, rows with
different locations, machines, sort values, model codes or diameters will be
in different labels, because Location, Machine, Sort Value and Model Code have
priority in the sorting sequence over diameter. Possible values for this
field:
- Machine
- Location
- Mark
- Model Code
- Sort Value
- Diameter
- Row
: If you choose this value a label will be printed for each row.
-
Max. Weight/Label
: The maximum weight for a
label. If the weight in a label exceeds the limit you inform in this field,
then it will automatically be divided into several labels so that the
maximum weight is not exceeded.
-
From Label N. -- to
. This two fields indicate
the range of labels to be printed. If you leave them empty, all labels will
be printed. You shouldn't inform both this range and the From Row N. --
to range. You can inform the row or the label range, or none of them,
but you should not inform both of them.
-
Max number of detail lines per label.
It
indicates the maximum number of rows which can be included in a label,
provided they have the necessary things in common ( see Label by
parameter). If it is left empty ( recommended ), then the maximum number
is calculated by the program depending on the label size.
Press OK to print the labels.
When printing has finished choose option File--Lose
changes and exit.
