Simple Selection and Multiple Selection
Choose General->Models->Add / Change / Delete.
Type one of the models you have created so far and press OK.
Make two copies of the piece as was explained in the chapter Moving and copying.
So now you have three pieces: the old one and the two copies you have made. Make sure you are in the ITEM setting.
Move all three models one grid square higher. To do that you have to select piece 1 and move it, then select piece 2 and move it, then select piece 3 and move it. When you select a piece it becomes red and the one which was red before becomes black: two pieces can't be selected at the same time.
This can be changed: so far we have worked in the simple selection mode. This is a toggle setting which can be changed by choosing Drawing->Toggle: Simple selection / Multiple Selection.
Choose Drawing-> Toggle: Simple selection / Multiple Selection.
You know that you are in the multiple selection mode if "MULTIPLE SELECTION" is included in the window caption.
This way you can select more than one piece at the same time. When you select a piece, the previously selected piece doesn't become black. So if you do a move, copy, rotate or change size operation, all selected pieces (in red) will be affected.
Try selecting all three pieces and moving them at the same time.
If you want to deselect a piece when you are in multiple selection mode, click with the RIGHT mouse button on it. The only difference between selecting a piece and deselecting it is that you select with the LEFT button and deselect with RIGHT button of the mouse.
To select all pieces in a model there is a faster way: by choosing Drawing->Select all you perform two actions:
Choose File->Exit.
